Hi everyone. I’m trying to take my faith more seriously this year, but I keep feeling overwhelmed. I’ll hear a claim on social media like “the Church teaches X,” then someone else says the opposite, and I don’t know how to verify what’s actually official teaching versus someone’s opinion.
I’m baptized Catholic but I never had strong formation beyond basic CCD. I’m looking for trustworthy resources for learning Church teachings (faith and morals, sacraments, prayer, Mary, etc.)—ideally things I can actually stick with as a normal working adult. I’d love recommendations for books, websites, apps, podcasts, and also how to read Church documents without getting lost. If you have a “start here” path, that would help a lot. Thanks!
