I’ve been praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet on and off for a couple years, mostly at 3pm when I remember. Lately I’ve been dealing with a lot of guilt about past sins (some confessed, some I’m not even sure how to think about), and also anxiety about the future—family stuff, money stuff, the usual.
A friend invited me to Divine Mercy Sunday this year and the image of Jesus with the rays and the words “Jesus, I trust in You” hit me harder than I expected. I’m not sure I can explain it, but it felt like I’d been trying to earn God’s love instead of receiving it.
So I’m curious: how has Divine Mercy devotion (chaplet, image, novena, confession on Divine Mercy Sunday, reading St. Faustina, etc.) actually impacted your life in a concrete way? Has it changed how you approach confession, prayer, or daily stress? I’d really appreciate real stories—good, bad, gradual, anything.
